Jayne Ervin is the president of Jayson Jewelers and founded it in 1984. Over the years she has received her diamond-grading certificate from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Loyd Ervin is our in-house jeweler with 40 years of experience. Loyd has an extensive background as a jeweler and metalsmith. His craftsmanship enables us to create and repair jewelery in a variety of metals from silver to platinum. All work is started and completed in our store. He is the president of Ervin’s Metalsmiths Inc., located in the same building as our Downtown location. He specializes in antique metal restoration. Kendra Harris is our GIA (Gemological Institute of America), Graduate Gemologist.  She graduated from the GIA headquarters in Carlsbad California in August of 2002 with this highly esteemed degree.  With her extensive knowledge of diamonds and gemstones, she is able to identify and appraise your mystery gemstone.  She has also established the title of an Accredited Jewelery Professional (AJP) through her classes at GIA. Kendra@jaysonjewelers.com
